The head of state made a trip to address national troops in the Pokrovsk area on Tuesday. He stated that he met with warriors at the command post of the first unit of the Ukrainian National Guard Azov, which is leading defense efforts in the Dobropillya zone, a location approximately 20km from the city.

Intense Conditions in the Area

Geospatial data from a local initiative showed that Russian forces had made gains into Pokrovsk and its environs, though significant areas lacked clear dominance by either side. The situation remains critical, with accounts indicating that opposition troops were fortifying positions and strengthening posts in certain areas.

Opposition armies are making progress in the Pokrovsk sector and seem to be functioning with growing ease within Pokrovsk itself.

Military experts commented that national troops had recaptured substantial territory of a Russian penetration in the Dobropillya area, on the eastern edge of the Pokrovsk campaign.

Kyiv's Aerial Attacks Inside Russian Territory

Local officials confirmed a blast at the Sterlitamak facility that caused its water treatment facility to suffer damage, adding that the reason for the blast was not known. National forces reported hitting a Lukoil oil refinery at Kstovo in Russia's Nizhny Novgorod region east of Moscow. The degree of impact was being assessed. The territorial leader confirmed an attack by 20 drones near Kstovo.
